About Us:

The Mission of the Northwest Music Association (NMA) is to sponsor Baroque Era chamber music with an educational component, performed by renowned professional musicians.

Because of restrictions due to the pandemic, the concerts in 2021 were  streamed on YouTube and are stil available via our Home page button.

The NMA's board is in need of new members, so if you are interested in joining our diverse group, please contact Paddy Rossbach at pgraspire@gmai.com. Members give time and money to support the mission.

The Northwest Music Association (NMA) will begin its sixteenth season in 20212Attendance has grown steadily over the years with between 150-200 enthusiastic music lovers attending each concert. Due to expected construction on St John's Church, Salisbury, our usual venue will not be available this year. Music Mountain has graciously let us use their Gordon Hall and ground for our concerts

We currently offer four concerts a year, each about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes in length, usually followed by a lively reception at which musicians and audience happily mingle. These will be scaled down this year, but, weather cooperating we will meet on the lawn for a glass of wine and simple packaged nibbles - a nod to covid!

To date, NMA has contracted with The New Baroque Soloists. This highly professional group offers a varied repertoire, including popular works by well-known composers as well as premieres from the group’s proprietary repertoire. Besides playing this wonderful music, the musicians also take a few minutes to educate the audience about the historical background of the times, instruments and pieces about to be played.

After fifteen successful seasons, there is a strong sense of community characterized by a warm and energized rapport between the audience and musicians.
